This is my first time using a penis pump with water; and I have to say, it’s a way better experience for me than the air type. This Bathmate pump, used in a warm bath, gives a lovely, solid encouragement to getting fully hard from flaccid. There’s a satisfying feeling of being fully engorged and slightly stretched while using it, and the sensation is measured, and pleasurable. The suction is positive, strong, but never overly strong.
Suction’s created by pressing the pump against the body, compressing the squishy bellows base (forcing water out of the end), then letting the bellows re-expand to create the powerful sucking sensation. It’s pretty simple to use, but it does take quite a lot of force against the pubic area to max out the suction. The top ‘nose-cone’ pushes in to release the suction. This takes a firm press to open the valve, but it releases the pressure pretty much instantly.
I do wish the part that mates with the pubic area was just a little squishier, given how much force is applied, but this is a small gripe in the scheme of things. I guess it probably has to be firm to withstand the pressures. There’s no lasting marks after a pumping session, and no mishaps.
After the first go it’s become routine & easy.
My first try with a penis pump was many years ago. It wasn’t long before that air-based one got binned though! My overriding memory of it is discomfort. The sensation of mild torture wasn’t for me, and the desires to gain more size and new sensations weren’t strong enough to carry on my pumping experiments. The pump was also able to create a pretty strong vacuum, and without any sort of pressure gauge. So looking back, this, and the lack of any instructions, made it feel a bit risky.
The instructions and design of the Bathmate Hydromax, in comparison, are reassuring: It’s good to know this device can’t exceed vacuum pressures allowed under European & US regulations, for example. It also gives clear warnings of risks and people who shouldn’t use this device, so it feels like a lot of thought and a reassuring amount of testing has gone into the product. Recommended pumping routine limits are useful info too.
For me pumping isn’t about gaining size, so much as health & stamina training, alongside a self-care routine, and I’ve heard great things about maintaining good blood flow. I’ve only used it for a bit over a month now, with semi-regular 10-15min bath time sessions, and I’d say it’s had an effect already; with a bit more size when flaccid, an uptick in nighttime erections and longer lasting morning wood, and also a slight increase in stamina & orgasm strength after using it.
It’s a decent bit of kit, and it feels durable. I do find it quite funny that I have a spa routine for my junk now though! HaHa! Seriously though; my top tip is softened water & moisturising after. And I’ve upgraded to a larger washbag now … Definitely a sign that it’s staying around!

A hefty pieces of equipment that satisfied my curiosity about such things with the prospect of enhance my appendage. Not really sure about the use of water but it has a soothing effect although it makes getting a seal around your shaft possibly more difficult. Also because things are wet its more difficult to avoid your scrotum sliding into the tube or hold onto it to stop it.

The measurements on the tube difficult to read and if one puts a 7 inch long appendage into the tube one would expect it to correspond on the scale.
I also found the ability to move the click valve for control very stiff and not always hold the water in when closed. With time I expected it to be easier with use but so far not so.
In terms of effectiveness 3 weeks on I would have to say increases girth with regular use but length the jury is very much still out. I suspect not.

The bathmate arrived yesterday ordered on Saturday turned up on on Wednesday pretty quick for delivery for interstate. ( 3 working days) today is day 1 in the shower we go as most reviews I have read have problems with the suction, after reading the instructions carefully & advice on tube i happy to say it had no issues with the bathmate suction. I am in my early 50’s & purchased this product for therapy mainly to bring the blood back into my penis & over time yes time hopefully bringing more erections.
Guys if you are having problems in the shower 🚿 my advice is 1) make sure you shave below 2) remove the comfort pad prior to filling the bathmate so air is not trapped, then re-inserted the comfort pad & the rest is history.
I did 3 sets at 2-3min with out an issue. Next will be the bath 🛁 which from what I’ve read is a lot easier. as they say it’s not a race but a marathon & will take time over several months, while pricey its safer than others on the market, stay tuned ill do another review in approximately 5 months for results 😉 5 stars for now!!
