I’ve been looking for a plain collar for a while, as I have a collection of larger-padded ones that are more suited to play. I really enjoy collars as a comfort thing – especially with the husband working away from home at the moment, I tend to wear a collar/cuffs as a pressure comfort thing. That’s where this collar really shines – it isn’t as bulky/padded as some play collars, and the leather is so soft it’s doesn’t get uncomfortable. It also has the benefit of being slightly thinner than a lot of collars so doesn’t dig in under the chin, either. This is also HUGELY adjustable and would fit most neck sizes.

I bought this collar as more of a fashion item than sexy role play – although i’m sure it’ll find it’s way into the bedroom. It feels very high quality and well made, the stitching is practically invisible. It’s a little thicker than I had expected, so does give quite a daring look. The only thing I don’t love about this collar is the strap overhangs a little when bucked up. But you can’t see it if you wear long hair down. Overall I really like it and will be adding it to my outfits as soon asap.

this collar made me realise that I clearly have a pretty tiny neck, because even the smallest size was hanging off me! so be sure to measure! I decided to keep it and just punch a hole at the correct size for myself, and it worked, but oh my gosh it was a task. it took forever to push through the leather and make a hole, so I can attest that this collar will absolutely take a beating! that said, I’m still very pleased with the purchase! it is so comfy. it’s slim enough to not be restrictive but still feels substantial to wear. all round top marks really

Delivery was discreet, as always, and my order came in a plain cardboard box. I absolutely love the Bondage Boutique Soft Leather Collar. It’s well made with attention to detail. The leather is nice, thick and smooth, and the lining on the inside feels very soft to the touch. The buckle and the D-ring are really sturdy. It’s wide and heavy enough so the wearer feels it, but it’s very comfortable and can be worn for long periods. Great for both beginners and those with more experience in bondage. This is a classic BDSM collar that you can put on your submissive to remind them of their position. It looks wonderful and can even be worn as an accessory if it fits your style. The D-ring is both beautiful and practical. You can attach a lead, a bell, a charm, handcuffs – anything you want. The metal studs are sturdy and can take a pulling. We found that the length was great for us, but the collar might be too big for women with tiny necks. In that case, there is room for at least 2 more holes to get the right fit. For its price, this is a really good quality collar. Beautiful, comfortable, practical and overall amazing!

I bought this for my submissive as a Christmas Present, with a little advice from a close friend of mine who is a very experienced Dominant in the BDSM community. Other than remarking that he preferred to make collars himself (which I, like many people I suspect, don’t have the knowledge or equipment to do) he said it looked very good quality, and on a very positive (and necessary) note, was real leather, which a lot of sites don’t offer. Postage:It arrived very promptly and with incredibly discreet delivery which I’m sure plenty of other reviews have already commented on: plain brown box with very tiny return address listing only the site location, without mentioning Lovehoney at all. Having ordered from different trusted websites simultaneously, I found that Lovehoney’s packaging was by far the most discreet. Comfort:I think one of the most important aspects of a collar is how comfortable it is, both for short and long periods, this is something this collar aced. Straight out of the packaging I tried it on to test before sending it off and I found it noticeable, but still comfortable to wear. The leather is soft and smooth and sits nicely against your skin. There are plenty of holes, so it should fit a wide variety of neck sizes, although I did notice when I tried it on myself as a test that I was close to the end, and there are people with slimmer necks than mine. My submissive loved it though, his first comment on taking it off: “oh I feel so naked”. He has worn it both for long periods of time – the majority of the day; and short periods – an hour or two and loved it equally. It is sturdy enough to easily withstand a good tug without putting too much pressure in the wrong places – (although you should know what you’re doing and how to use safely). It was comfortable enough that sometimes he forgot it was there, however I certainly didn’t, with its beautiful sleek appearance. The only downside as far as I can see and as far as my submissive has reported is that the buckle of the collar is a little stiff, making it slightly hard to put on alone. We’re hoping this will ease up slightly with regular use. It doesn’t cause much of an issue, however. Appearance:It was a massive pleasure to see this adorning my sub’s neck, especially when combined with a tag, which the provided D ring is more than capable of holding. It looks stunning up against the skin and appears well made and amazing quality. In Conclusion:I honestly don’t have anything properly negative to say about this, it might be more expensive than a lot of the cheaper collars, but it will last, is far more comfortable, real leather and most importantly safe. It wouldn’t do it justice to award anything less than 5 stars and I can highly recommend.

My sub and I are both delighted with this lovely, high quality collar. The leather smells nice and it’s comfortable enough to sleep in, which a bonus as it makes him look very pretty. The D-ring at the front is sturdy and good for control. The only downside is that this collar fits rather large; my sub has an average-sized neck but there’s still quite a long strap tail once buckled, and no loop has been provided to keep it tucked away. It wouldn’t be at all suitable for a female or slight male sub. An excellent starter collar and a turn on for me.

As a beginner in BDSM I found that this collar was a great fit! It was restrictive but just the right amount of restriction whilst still being a comfortable and soft material on the skin.

It can be quite awkward to put it on as all buckle fasteners can be fiddly but you can do what I do and get your parter to help.

I purchased the older generation of this product in 2020 (back when it was known as the Advanced Leather Collar) and unfortunately my partner misplaced it. When I came here to buy a new one I was skeptical when I saw they had changed it, since I worried they had switched to a cheaper and lower quality design.
As far as I can tell, the quality is on par with the old design – nearly identical. The biggest change is that the buckle strap now has more holes in it, so it can fit smaller necks.
This collar pairs perfectly with their chain leash (product no. 52082 here on LH) and is extremely robust and durable. Of all the leather/faux leather collars I’ve tried, this one feels the most secure. The collar feels a bit stiff at first, but with continued use the leather will soften and become very comfortable.
The only improvement I could suggest for this design would be the option of a locking buckle, but that’s hardly a deal-breaker.
