This is the first paddle I have owned which is made with 2 parts, with 2 pieces of material able to bang together it gives a nice spanking sound, great for when my my partner is tied up and not knowing what is coming. I used this feature to tease her in-between spankings.
The pattern is really nice but I found I had to spank really hard to leave a lasting impression. I think this paddle is great for someone more sensitive to being spanked, a little slap can give a loud crack which can be a real turn on for both the giver and the receiver.
The material feels great so far, leather like which helps with the noise and it has held up to multiple spanking sessions, some of them hard to keep my sub in line.
Great product for a first timer or somebody who is sensitive to spanking but gets turned on from the hard spanking sound.

As a couple just starting to try out some impact play this is a great, useful addition to the toy box.
The paddle is a great size for a good swing but with a nice wide impact zone it’s a relatively safe way to try it out without easily doing damage.
It is split down the middle so kind of has two paddle shaped flaps which whack together when you use it. Think makes for a great spanking sound and really ups the anticipation of it. It does mean that this is a little bit more bark than bite – great for us, warming up to impact play but not that painful if that’s what you’re looking for though you can definitely get a nice rosy red glow!
We also love the stars for design and a nice little incentive to “mark” the other with a couple of star shapes.
Overall a great beginner toy for impact play but something we’ll look to expand from as we get more experience

As always this arrived quickly and discreetly and the paddle was packaged nicely inside.
We were asked to test this so was unsure as to what it looked like prior to arrival. Its very pretty to look at and the black and red contrast work well with the faux leather finish. It’s got double layers with the stars cut into the black top layer with the red showing through and is probably just smaller than a ping pong paddle. It has a nice satin wrist strap so it doesn’t end up being flung across the room but would make it look very elegant hanging up. On arrival there was already a crease at the base of the paddle at the back but that’s not a huge issue other than the fact that if used regularly over a period of time, I feel it would break.
In regards to use, this would definately suit beginners that are just starting in the world of BDSM or perhaps a couple that just want to try something a little different. Hubby really had to put some force into it before I flinched but with such a large surface area that was expected. It does make a lovely loud slapping sound on impact and the sensation is slightly stingy. We tried to get the star pattern to imprint on my bum with no success but I don’t mark well so can’t say that you wouldn’t be able to achieve it.
We have decided to use this as a ‘warm up’ paddle before moving onto our more extreme things and love the fact that we now have this as we haven’t had something like this in the toy cabinet for a while.
Overall its a nice little paddle that we wouldn’t have looked at if we were shopping but really glad we now have one!

This is a perfectly fine paddle for the price. It has a lot of flaws but they’re also things I wouldn’t necessarily knock given the price. If you just want a paddle that paddles, this is definitely a good paddle. Very beginner friendly. The fact the coating of the wood isn’t stitched the whole way around absorbs some shock and makes it relatively low pain for a paddle. The stars don’t last very long and aren’t very noticeable unless you hit almost recklessly hard. It doesn’t leave any nice star shaped bruises we found (as tried on three bottoms). The handle could be longer for better and safer grip. Definitely friendly for newbies but only newbies.

My partner and I are just starting to experiment with toys in the bedroom. This paddle is great for its noise, and its use can be both for lighter smacks and more powerful ones.
