Ive had a spreader bar on my wishlist for ages so I was thrilled when I was gifted this spreader bar and cuff set for an honest review so here goes. First I would like to mention the length as I feel its the most important thing to me. This is such a great adjustable size, to legs slightly apart to a full blown stretch. This is achieved by putting the pins in to your desired length and just a gentle tug to pull them out. It felt very secure even at the longest setting. The cuffs are extremely soft and you can also use your own if you prefer. They are velcro so would fit many size ankles. My only niggle is I found the spreader quite noisy and ratterly which is a little off putting. This is a great bit of kit for your toy box and I would recommend it purely becauce its lenght if you want to put on a real show.

These was are 1st time with a spreader bar! It came in the usual Lovehoney packaging so mr posties doesn’t know what he is handing over so no red faces there. I unboxed it got it out of the bog standard packaging. Popped it together which was very very easy. It came in 3 bits with the cuffs there & 2 pins! We had a play with it that night it was so easy to put on my ankles and so very comfortable. When we was looking at buying we didn’t want anything the rubbed or shafted me which they didn’t even on the titest of setting! We had a lot of fun trying positions we have been in before and then trying new ways aswell! We wasn’t sure when buying a bar what size we wanted that’s why we went for the expandable one! We are glad we did because it gave us so much more options to try. We went for safe at 1st then kept going bigger! The fun we had and are still having are incredible! Every time we use it we try new positions new ways it’s so much fun! It breaks down into 3 peace’s so you can store it away not to be seen and also if your going away fir the night it goes nicely into your over night bag for fun away aswell!

we bought this bar as a beginner and a tester to see if it was for us well yes it was the only proplem was we brock it on first use as the loops easly become open the bar its self and the cuffs are strong and have plenty of give we will defently be buying another but this time something a bit more stronger

I’ve wanted one of these ever since I first clapped eyes on that elusive scene from the famous fifty shades series.
The spreader bar was discreetly packaged (as always with LH products) and it arrived swiftly following my order. To say I was excited for its arrival was an understatement, I simply couldn’t wait to give it a go and give it a go we sure have!
The sensual, soft, black, furry, ankle cuffs are super cute and comfortable which placed against the cold metal bar is such a lovely sensation. I was quite wowed by the width which the bar expands to, my husband was certainly impressed that’s for sure!
This sexy badass spreader bar seems strong, sturdy and is super easy to adjust with two pins to alter the length. This super ‘super spreader’ not only looks super sleek and sexy but feels incredibly kinky whilst comfortable to wear.
I love how the spreader bar gave my husband power, leverage and dominance. We teamed this with some Velcro handcuffs (which my husband also placed on the bar) and wow, suddenly the idea of being locked down seems rather enticing…
Having seen ‘that 50 shades scene’, my husband couldn’t help but to give the legendary ‘flip’ a shot and we pulled it off pretty well (despite almost falling off the bed!).
This is our new favourite toy and I can see it becoming a regular feature in our bedroom. It’s worth every penny – IT’S A SUPER SPREADER!

We’ve successfully used the bar for a variety of positions. The adjustability makes the bar useful for both hands and legs.
We’ve also had success using the Lovehoney silk ties to attach the bar in place (ie to headboard, allowing lifting of legs)
However, there is a major problem with the bar – ostensibly the pins that hold the bar’s shape have loops so cuffs can also be attached to the middle of the bar. Unfortunately these loops rattle quite loudly, and slip out incredibly easy which definitely breaks down a scene!
I’d recommend not using cuffs there, and perhaps taking the loops off the pins entirely.
